[divider]
In the communications world, social media has become an extremely important tool not only for a company’s marketing strategy but to also have a medium in which they can maintain a more personal relationship with their customers. The amount of information and social media strategy that I have learned at Social Werks has been extremely beneficial in preparing me for a communications career. Using tools such as Hootsuite, Sprout, Klout and others has given me an upper hand in the communication job market and employers love to see that I’m proficient in using them. I’ve learned that social media is much more than having a Facebook or Twitter account and that interacting with a client’s customers can have a very positive influence on the company’s success. – Dominique L., Seattle University Class of 2012
[divider]
Working at Social Werks has given me an opportunity to both express my creativity and learn the skills necessary to be competitive in today’s rapidly changing communications job market. As more companies turn to social media as a reliable and efficient way to connect with their clients and market their brand, they are also seeking employees who are capable of effectively managing their social media presence. During my internship at Social Werks, I feel like I’ve learned the social media writing and strategy skills that companies are looking for.-Nick P., Western Washington University, Class of 2013
